Dragi hokejski navdušenci,
s ponosom sporočam, da se po šestih letih v zaloško dvorano vrača mednarodni spektakel za naše najmlajše hokejiste, U8 in U9 Mednarodni hokejski turnir HK Slavija Jr. 2025.
Že več kot 15 let vlagamo trud in energijo v razvoj hokejistov. Danes naš klub šteje približno 170 članov, ki pod vodstvom 13 trenerjev in pomočnikov trenirajo v vseh selekcijah – od hokejske šole do članske ekipe. Prav najmlajšim namenjamo posebno pozornost, saj se zavedamo, da je prav prvi stik otroka s športom ključen za to, ali bo šport tudi kasneje del njegovega življenja ali ne.
Dejstvo, da se nam vsako leto pridružijo številni novi mali junaki, ki svoj prosti čas namesto buljenju v ekrane namenjajo treningom, nas navdihuje. Na treningih dobesedno požirajo znanje, ki jim ga predajajo trenerji, in z občudovanjem spremljajo starejše selekcije. Hokejski turnirji so zanje, ki še niso del državnega prvenstva in ligaških tekmovanj, edinstvena priložnost, da pokažejo svoje spretnosti, strast do igre in vse, kar so se naučili.
Letošnji U8 in U9 Mednarodni hokejski turnir HK Slavija Jr. 2025 je 6. v zgodovini kluba. Zakaj ga obujamo po tako dolgem premoru? Za našega ‘paradnega konja’ med turnirji velja Mednarodni turnir U11, zaradi izkazanega interesa tako otrok kot staršev in članov drugih klubov, pa smo se odločili obuditi tudi turnir U9 in dati tudi mlajšim to, kar imajo nekoliko večji.
Dragi hokejisti, na tem turnirju vas bo v selekcijah U8 in U9 nastopilo več kot 190 hokejistov iz Avstrije, Hrvaške, Srbije, Italije in Slovenije. Pokazali boste lahko borbenost, ekipni duh in ljubezen do hokeja. Uživajte v izkušnji, sklepanju novih prijateljstev in nasploh nepozabnem dvodnevnem hokejskem prazniku v Zalogu.
Veselim se vseh tekem in športnega in spodbudnega navijanja staršev in drugih podpornikov na tribunah. Podprimo svoje ekip, hkrati pa z aplavzom nagradimo tudi nasprotnike. Pokažimo, da se pod našimi dresi skriva veliko športno srce!

Dear Hockey Enthusiasts,
I am proud to announce that after six years, an international spectacle for our youngest hockey players is returning to the Zalog arena – the U8 and U9 International Slavija Junior Tournament 2025!
For more than 15 years, we have been investing our efforts and energy into developing hockey players. Today, our club has approximately 170 members who train under the guidance of 13 coaches and assistants across all age categories – from the hockey school to the senior team. We pay special attention to our youngest players, as we recognize that a kid’s first experience with sports is crucial in determining whether sports will remain a part of their life in the future.
It is truly inspiring to see so many young heroes join us each year, choosing training over screen time. They eagerly absorb the knowledge imparted by their coaches and admire players in the older categories. For these young hockey players, who are not yet part of national championships or league competitions, hockey tournaments provide a unique opportunity to showcase their skills, passion for the game, and everything they have learned.
This U8 and U9 International Slavija Junior Tournament 2025 is the 6th edition in the history of our club. Why are we reviving it after such a long break? While our flagship event has been the International U11 Tournament, the growing interest from children, parents, and members of other clubs has inspired us to bring back the U9 tournament, giving younger players the same exciting experience as their older peers.
Dear young hockey players, more than 190 players from Austria, Croatia, Serbia, Italy and Slovenia will compete in the U8 and U9 categories in this tournament. It is an excellent opportunity to show your fighting spirit, teamwork, and love for hockey. Enjoy the experience, the friendships you will make, and the unforgettable two-day hockey celebration in Zalog.
